The core of US Life Safety's emergency preparedness approach began with US Life Safety's CEO Steve Burchesky's interest in designing and producing emergency procedure programs for occupants in commercial buildings. In early 2000, Mr. Burchesky realized that a more internet-friendly approach to emergency preparedness management might be in order. Solving the need to better manage one or multiple facilities anywhere and have accountability that all employees understand key elements the company's emergency procedure's plan was the focal point. Teams have to be easily organized and updated quickly. All-hazard, evacuation plans and evacuation floor plan routes must be easily available to all employees while sharing this updated information with local emergency services. Please see city codes listed in "CODES" and OSHA 1910.38
