Background; President/Owner, Allen R. Neely Co., Inc., Narrows, VA – Owned and operated construction company for 31 years.  Attended pre-bid meetings, compiled data for bids, estimated work, inspected projects during construction, supervised subcontractors, kept projects within budget, maintained financial records, worked with engineers and architects on projects.  ARNCO was the on-demand contractor with VA Tech for 18 years.  Successfully completed numerous projects valued at $5 to $10 million per year with VA Tech, while receiving several international awards for excellence.  ARNCO was also primary contractor at Celanese Fibers for 25 years.

 

While at Celanese did estimating, scheduling, reviewing and acceptance and negotiating of subcontractor pricing (46 subcontractors), compiling and reviewing submittals supervised crews (up to 165 personnel), managed subcontractors, did 100% of layout work, supervised personnel safety.  During this time completing 2342 different projects ranging in value of $5000 to $8,000,000 (many of these projects had time lines from corporate and federal standards and all were accomplished in a timely manner.) Awarded by Celanese Fibers 7 years in succession “Zero” injuries for the companies work and also received an award for my personal commitment to safety “All Injuries Can Be Prevented Award”.  Received letters of accomplishment from Celanese management commending our work.

 

Have completed projects from 800 feet in the air to 12,000 feet under the ground all over the western hemisphere.
